E'Town Travel Agency Family Vacation Center Elizabethtown, KY

Hardin County's first travel agency opened its doors Sept. 20, 1965, first floor of the Masonic Building on Mulberry Street, Elizabethtown, KY, with Emma Waldeck, Owner & Manager, and one office employee. In 1970, the Agency moved to a building right around the corner to 114 W. Dixie Ave., formerly the Taylor Hotel. A couple of years later, World Wide Christian Tours was added as a Division of E'Town Travel, with group tours & cruises world wide.
